I bet someone will “forget”’to update the list in real time so it won’t even be a social shaming. 


It’s kinda how fines are just licenses.  I didn’t renew my fishing license one because the license was $100 and the fine was $25.

I had a friend (who came from money) who thought parking / towing was a fee she had to pay and that she could park anywhere (and she did)

there is a big difference between:

"would chance a ticket" vs see it as a flat fee to pay

Ngl, parking in DC is so ridiculous in some garages and tickets were so cheap a decade ago that I would just chance the ticket.
