I am pretty sure I have not once bought a token that's hot on dexscrnr and made profit. /lessoninthere Found out the shitcoin I bought, which was actually doing good price wise, was transferred out of my wallet. Even if I did do revoke.cash (I tried to do it a few hrs later), it could not have saved me. The tx send was instantly after the buy. And they had the audacity to wait for me to finish the test tx with $1 (bought and sold, no problems) and did nothing with it. Honestly, I respect the hustle. But I am an idiot. Luckily it was not for too much $$.

You re not an idiot, ramsey. A month ago, i also had something happen with my tonkeeper wallet , and they emptied it. It’s all part of the experience. Youre so lucky it wasn’t much, and you paid a small price for a very valuable lesson.

But I mean, how to prevent it? I can't read code that well (or at all). And Uni confirmations through MM are confusing. Just now, made a small test sell on something I already own, I change the MM confirmation to a small amount of that token ($1 value), but Uni immediately sets it at unlimited again.

I always do these for any transaction, at first always double check the amounts of permissions before confirming transactions and revoke unnecessary ones by revoke.cash . Second enter the exact transaction amounts and avoid confirming unlimited amounts. If you follow both, i don’t think this will happen again. Never rush to complete your transactions. take your time, look carefully, and then proceed.
