~ This is not a photograph of an older man on a bench ~ Street photography is an incredibly rewarding and grateful activity. The physical exercise of walking and sometimes literally chasing an image, the felt excitement, the unexpected encounters with beautiful strangers and fellow human beings that are, as Henri Cartier-Bresson used to put it, consenting victims, it all is rewarding enough. Spring … it’s great to open up, reach out, see the light come back and feel the air get warmer. Probably prefer the hot hot summers even more, when everything slows down under the weight of the heat. What about you ?
