With an initial goal of $500k, they have already raised ~ 233 ETH ($850k) and are capping the raise at $900k. Although this gives Roman's legal team more time to prepare, it also increases his financial burden with estimated legal expenses of ~ $500k/month. This means that Roman needs to raise an additional ~ $2.5M USD to make it through his trial in December.

Update on Alexey's case in the Netherlands: Alexey's bail was denied by the court and he will remain in jail for ~ the next year while his legal team prepares for the appeal hearing.
