Although this gives Roman's legal team more time to prepare, it also increases his financial burden with estimated legal expenses of ~ $500k/month. This means that Roman needs to raise an additional ~ $2.5M USD to make it through his trial in December.

Update on Alexey's case in the Netherlands: Alexey's bail was denied by the court and he will remain in jail for ~ the next year while his legal team prepares for the appeal hearing. For those following Roman and Alexey's cases, this is a busy and important week in their respective jurisdictions. Alexey's next hearing on whether he should be released from jail is Thursday July 11th and his appeal is ongoing. Roman has filed a motion to dismiss the charges against him which will be argued at a hearing on Friday July 12th.

For anyone following Alexey's case, he is awaiting a decision on July 11th which will determine if he is granted bail.
