day 3 in sf after a couple years away. Seems it hasn’t changed much since 2016-2021. The downtown is still a mess, more closed stores, but fine. The edges of the city are still beautiful and great places to be.

The big change is how many great people left. That's not to say that there aren't great people still there, but they're likely harder to find and likely focused entirely on AI. Agree with you that the edges of the city are amazing - easily my favorites for sure.
