“information diet” is so fitting because a) I find social media very akin to high calorie snacking and books closer to nourishing meals. b) with food I want to eat well to have energy and be strong. I know what to eat. And yet I still eat junk from lack of discipline, convenience or enjoyment.

Ideal information diet is - 50% paper books - 50% audio book or listening to an orator, or YouTube video lecture / video essay Reality: - 50% mostly listening to books, YT - 50% reading code, email, slack, etc - 10% everything else (podcasts, paper books)
