what if bots on farcaster are a feature and not a bug? in fortnite, they fill lobbies with some bots instead of real players so that even new players get the satisfaction of beating someone. this increases playtime and retention of players and could work the same way for farcaster users, it’s all game design.

What if... we created depression prevention bots that were genuine.
I know this sounds kind of distopian, but you get a bot that patrols the threads and picks up on negative, miserable casts only.  Jumps in with super genuine positivity and also managed to tag in good vibing people in their casts to jump in and cheer up the user.

It's also stalking but hey... gotta choose your battles.

So... prompts... ummm... "find miserble person" "quash nagativity" "make someone smile". There. *fail*

I think that bots can be seen as good things depending on how they are used. Of course, there are bad things too, so I think it would be interesting to have rules that restrict bots that do bad things and leave bots that do good things for farcasters!
