most (all?) of what we call ai agents are just chatbots in a social app i want my agents to do things for me... that i want them to do... without me telling them to do it @atlas can't do this yet, but it'll get there eventually.. just need to figure out the first autonomous action it's **really** good at any ideas?

the most straightforward thing to do is for it to act as an assistant giving summaries, either ones you can read at night of all activities that has happened or ones you can read early in the morning

i don't want to read summaries, i want my agent to read summaries and present various actions i can take based on those summaries

eventually that’ll be the way to go, but to start, i feel that is the the best direction (my thought), once the barrier between prompting for actions is broken, other things can come in place, ie what you want to do with information you get

i think the barrier is already broken on farcaster, it's just a ux challenge at this point not a simple one to solve, but there will be infinite products that can be built once it is solved

true, everything has to feel seamless. At the same time controlled too.

100% as a user, i want to feel like i'm in control, but i also want apps to do things for me without me asking (and sometimes i want the opposite) so, yeah, not an easy challenge
