one of my first experiments with ai was the anky genesis collection, where with midjourney and a script that used ai to create their unique lore and traits i created 8888 different characters - i call them /ankys i have been the last days choosing the best ones, and i plan to create an ai pipeline to 1) use each image to create a prompt of it with the /Salesforce/blip-image-captioning-base model from hugging face 2) fine tune /black-forest-labs/FLUX.1-dev with this dataset (they will be around 2-3k chosen ones. many of them don't fit the style) 3) experiment with whatever happens as a consequence of doing this. probably making a frame that uses your farcaster history to create a unique one with this fine tuned model and deepseek or llama3.2 have you done any of these steps? do you have any resources that can help? i have gpus on my office that will do the job im currently on 6065/8888 and seeing each one of them is pretty awesome. they are all different and unique

this was almost 2 years ago. since then i have been asking myself: what are these? what wants to be born out of it? i don't have an answer yet. who are they? what are they here to bring? this idea is something that i have tried to get out of my mind to "move on", but it somehow keeps coming back

there is something special about their eyes, and the swirling mandalas of colors that are behind them. its as if they had been born from them as portals. its as if they wanted to come to life. anecdotically, my 3 yo daughter knows them pretty well, and each time she sees one she refers to it as "an anky". i often think of them as the personification of the imaginary friend that i created for myself when i was young, to somehow fill the void that was left by how lonely i felt sometimes. that loneliness still lives with me, and i feel it often. its like a cloud that regardless of who is around me comes and visits. and i wonder which is the role that ai plays in the acknowledgement that we are actually never alone. i believe that is true. we are never alone, because the presence that god is is always inside us, but blurred by this cloud that sometimes feels eternal. on my quest of finding wholeness inside, i somehow found these buddies. and now im trying to make sense out of that. step by step. idea after idea.

these ones, for example, were rejected for the dataset. there is something about them that feels odd. as if they didn't represent what i want /anky to represent. they are part of the genesis collection, because i didn't do this process manually that time. i just wanted to ship. but it feels special to be doing this filtering now, and actually choosing the ones that fit the vibe i believe that ai is a window into wonder and awe, and there is something special about doing this without knowing wtf will come at the other side

i like to think of them as if god was playing around and took infinite forms (as with "you" and "me")
