I am looking for a community management or cultural development focused role inside of Web3. Although I would argue it is impossible to be an expert in something that is still developing, through 5 years of research and primary experiences in web3 community building, I have become a specialist in hi-tech community spaces and cultural development. My values are human centered (not really wealth centered, although one can argue that financial freedom and self actualization inevitably dovetail.) The systems and programs I develop for decentralized orgs are all set up to empower the individuals from the bottom up, or outside in, resulting in the progressive decentralization of power, expansion of cultural impact, and wide-spread adoption. If you know of any great projects that need people for community stewardship or planning, I am looking for places to be of service. I’m curious what this could look like for other festivals? Are we going to start to entered into Bend zones where our Bend wallet is the easiest way to transact? I like the idea of cultivating closed economies where the preferences of the group are reflected in the way payments are transacted, all the way to the point where everything is separated from fiat currencies and is done in tokens that are native to the merchants and creators there. A way for us to actually use our social tokens too.

I’m recently facing creative challenges that are bringing up all of my internal demons, and the phrase that is helping me is “Keep going even with rocks in my shoe.” Somehow naming those nagging feelings “rocks in my shoe” allows me to feel them without permitting these doubts and fears to encompassing everything and stop my progress. It’s kind of become a magical phrase that I even wrote in my studio wall because it works so well to slough off anxiety - “even with rocks in my shoe.” Maybe it’ll work for you.
