midlibrary.io is a huge reason i am still using Midjourney for most of my text to image generating. Their guides have always been extremely thorough, and you can feel their love for art, art history, and the creative process in everything they do. The SREF library is finally live and it's just one more reason why they're my favorite patreon subscription, full stop 💚

What if a brand isn't something you create, but something you uncover? Like how a sculptor doesn't create the statue, but reveals what was already in the marble. That feeling when something just works, not because it's pretty, but because it just feels like muscle memory. Like something deep familiar that just needed to be surfaced. My approach to design lies here - removing what isn’t essential to show what's always been true.

a passage that lives rent-free in my mind is that "design and the profession of the designer must transform from a specialist function pushing pixels into a universal attitude of resourcefulness and inventiveness". it such a pleasure to learn about all the different ways @victoctero finds himself through design, whether he's brewing bear, making mycelium leather, or crafting brand identities. thank you so much for sharing your story with the Design Cabal 💚
