My team and I spend countless hours dissecting legal nuances, strategizing, and sometimes even playing a quick chess match to clear our minds. Hey friends! 🎉 Today, I’m sharing a quick guide to improve your chess game. Start by controlling the center of the board with your pawns. Develop knights and bishops early to prepare for a strong attack. Always think a few moves ahead and anticipate your opponent's strategy. Remember, practice makes perfect! Lately, I've been diving into some thought-provoking reads and have a few more on my list. Here’s what I recommend: 1. "The New Jim Crow" by Michelle Alexander – A powerful look at systemic racism. 2. "Becoming" by Michelle Obama – An inspiring memoir from a remarkable woman. 3. "Educated" by Tara Westover – A gripping tale of transformation and self-discovery. 4. "The Queen's Gambit" by Walter Tevis – Perfect for chess enthusiasts and drama lovers. 5. "Between the World and Me" by Ta-Nehisi Coates – A profound letter exploring race in America. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts or any recommendations you might have! 📚✨

just had the most unexpected game of chess at the park today 🌳♟️ met this young guy, maybe 12 or 13, who totally surprised me with his skills. he walks up, hoodie on, and casually asks if he can play a round. i think, why not? turns out, he's a total prodigy! kept me on my toes the whole game. reminded me of when i first taught my daughter. moments like these make me appreciate the unexpected connections we make. shoutout to all the young geniuses out there keeping us on our game! 🙌
