Kinda of amazing considering their grand and great grandparents fought them. Yesterday while driving I thought, why don't people read/understand history more, and this is the result.

Fox News did to our parents what they thought video games would do to us.

Sad.

There are many journalists out there doing solid work with integrity. That's not the issue, the issue is that 24/7 network news are for-profit entities, that make money by keeping everyone watching. 

So everything becomes breaking news and the presentation of that news throws the viewers into a constant cycle of crisis. People have become addicted to the dopamine of breaking news cycles. The viewers think they are informed citizens when they are being milked for their attention on a corporate attention farm.
