- 2D digital art feels a bit like “putting newspapers on the internet”

- Current mediums where attention & community assemble (twitter, instagram, etc) only natively support 2D. VR + immersive digital spaces will change this.

- In the real world, the value of things you wear (fashion, luxury watches, purses, etc) is capped vs. pure art due to risk of items getting stolen/lost/ruined - $200k rolex vs. $100m basquiat.

This issue disappears in digital space.

- In the most vibrant 3D digital spaces today (games), the most coveted assets are things that move with you - avatars, skins on guns, etc.

- Starting to see this already with crypto - the amount of attention & community that accrues to PFP’s is probably an order of magnitude bigger than anything else in NFT’s.
