Should theoretically result in more inflows to defi protocols and network usage in general but I don't think decentralised stables are dead yet either. Interested in liquity V2

I've only heard it as a pejorative in conjunction with the belief that higher education is liberal establishment brainwashing. So usually they are saying you don't think for yourself and just absorb/regurgitate propaganda and don't pursue the "real" knowledge they typically source from the output of divisive social media algorithms.

Do you think this form of privacy will recreate the fragmented systems we have now where the nation state selects who can access privacy/finance and who cannot subjectively? Is this better than enshrining right to privacy for all even if it does lead to direct confrontation with nation state overlords?

I just referenced "We Used to Wait" at a graduation dinner last night re: tech abstraction/removing the labor required for communication resulted in more communication but at a loss of richness/depth/uniqueness of the shared experience inherent to the previous form u had to work/wait for. Kids were like shut up old man

ATP is the energy settlement currency for biological systems. Ossification around ATP was integral to the evolution of the network of superstructures built on top of that economy. We often view ossification and adaptability as opposing concepts but I think ossification can facilitate adaptability a layer up.

Nice. I'm an ER doc, though average at tests, rule follower in that I try to adhere to the evidence base (tho cognizant of its flaws and industry bias), thoroughly burned out by contrived corp/gov impediments to care, debt averse, and status dispassionate :). I share your end goal tho and similarly drawn here to build

Who receives the benefits of the productivity? Is it some sort of community run DAO with stake in the health of said community, or a corporation in the middle extracting value? The latter is the main problem w/ US healthcare today IMO. I.e. it's an incentive misalignment issue that won't be solved by automation alone.

Same here. Anything where you have competition for resource and ecosystem participants capable of change/adaptation will render an evolutionary system. Tech evolution for instance IMO is a branch of and not entirely distinct from bio evolution. Replace energy/ATP w/ $ as the limited resource driving competition.

Strange to me if they are gonna go the "ETH i a security" route is that they just approved the futures ETF a matter of months ago, after Grayscale loss and after ETH switch to POS. The plan is to torch it now? Hard to make rational sense of it.

I don't think it's coincidence that the news dropped during the Coinbase update the system summit in DC. That seems on brand for this SEC

Rabby has (at least last time I looked) suboptimal tracking and privacy features which keeps me away. UX looks good tho.

What prevents pooled stake from punting down the risk curve into LRTs to keep yield competitive and degen capital following? I'm afraid you end up with most stake doing that which seems like a worse problem. I don't think we can rely on altruism for solo stakers and the network to thrive
