My brother works for the LA County Fire Department and sent me some pictures and videos from the Palisades fire. He says he’s never seen anything like it. Entire neighborhoods burned to ashes. My family is well South of the fires, but really hurting for my friends and colleagues who live in the impacted areas. 😢

The Eaton and Palisades fires are barely contained (3% and 8%, though it’s hard to really know what that means), so it may be a while. There is just so much dry brush in those areas and the winds are gnarly.
