was just walking around soho and had the most bizarre thought: i preferred this city ā nyc ā to the internet as in, somehow, at some point, iād internalized the sense that i was mostly living in a mostly digital world. and i found myself daydreaming about moving back home.

this now has me thinking about framing certain digital experiences in contexts or terms traditionally reserved for physical experiences. For ex: summering on Meta Quest, doing a morning walk on X, etc. sort of has a slightly dystopian-tinge though
