From the Nobel discourse today on Karikó’s effective banishment from academia, I came across this guy who similarly made major contributions to one of the most important proteins in biological research, and was a cab driver when that work got a Nobel Prize https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Douglas_Prasher
