I always thought that “the preverbal dog who caught the car” Was an idiom about when a dog catches a car he chased he sinks his teeth into the tire and rolls violently over getting thrashed (Because this use to happen to my dog) I guess it’s just about not knowing what to do after an achievement. Weird
