From my experience raising my kids, I think this is from dopamine withdrawals from technology. Even get this when I have had a good day online.

Dopamine imbalances, and, according to the study, isolation seem to be drivers. As a girl dad, I worry about it.

Me too! I have a son and daughter, and both of them are super into technology. It concerns me when I see how it affects them now, and makes me worried how they will be as adults because of it. I know if they were to see a dr. about it they would get meds and I'm not ok with that at their ages.
