Things I’ve learned about the VR generation as we build Throwback Studios:

1) make it free
2) they don’t know how to use keyboards because of iPads (unless they’re PC gamers)
3) they don’t really know how to use URLs, they search instead
4) VR is a tool to become famous

Agreed. It’s definitely a concern how very basic parts of computing are being replaced by shortcut interfaces that will slow the generation down in the long-term.

Keyboards is a big issue. I think keyboards suck (big learning curve and far away from thinking speed), but they're still the best we have by far. Using anything else is too inefficient.

I'm going to type my sons how to read, write, speak, math, and type, and I'm optimistic this will make them kings of their generation.
