True to some extent. If I use the P256 verifier contract built by the @daimo team as means to control a wallet, there’s no way to “deny” signatures for that wallet. Also, Lit Protocol supposedly will be decentralized and thus can be used as a “permission-less” KMS. But yes, most MPC solutions have this flaw.

Good stuff! One part that’s worth mentioning is that wallets that rely in the API/Server model to authenticate wallets via Passkeys might be at risk of being “denied” access, even if only them can access the wallet. EIP-7212 is promising but there are already implementations that could use it, just not with AA

It used the original one in addition to the Chinese Remainder Theorem as an optimization. Code was created by the Safeheron team and is available here - https://github.com/Safeheron/crypto-paillier-js/blob/main/lib/paillier.ts

Passkey smart wallets lay just beyond the cutting edge of wallet UX today. Web cryptography specialist @jjpa walks through the tech behind Passkeys 4337 wallets on the latest Web3 Galaxy Brain 🌌🧠 Highlights: - WebAuthn - MPC, DKG, and Homomorphic encryption - largeBlob Save for later web3galaxybrain.com

Whenever I feel we are pushing the tech to the edge, someone comes up with yet another use case ha. Not yet, but happy to try. AFAIK these extensions have limited implementation but I can take a look, also wanted to mess with the prf one

It’s definitely making a case on favor of blockchain and cryptography than on crypto. If we can make that distinction then I agree it’s worth sticking around.

Over the past few months I've been exploring the usage of Passkeys, a standard built on top of webauthn, a form of web authentication across devices 🔑 There are many resources online to learn about them, but not from a dev perspective. So I built it - https://passkeys.is

I agree, but I hate having to continuously fund these wallets for gas fees. I would love if I could deploy a relay from my main and then any wallet that I’ve whitelisted, likely via some zero-knowledge proof, gets sponsored by my main. How are gas relayers these days?

I see. I can actually put something together to make this possible entirely on-chain. Let’s see what I can wipe out for the weekend
