This was out on one of my runs a while back climbing a steep set of stairs through a grove of redwoods nestled around a stream. That particular tree is right against the stairs and that little guy was quite curious about me as ran up.  He stuck around and it seemed an invitation to grab this shot.

He does look curious😂 Usually whenever I’ve seen squirrels in the wild they run away 
I’m just surprised at how this one in particular doesn’t seem to have an ounce of fear
