My team launched our first live service today: a service that creates Merkle-Patrica Trie account inclusion proofs for Ethereum along with every block, using Binius. Currently it's still a proof-of-concept, but one day soon this approach will bring fast stateless clients to Ethereum! https://www.irreducible.com/posts/ethereum-state-proving-service

When everyone switches to binary fields, we can call them binary proofs. I also would prefer CS proofs, for "cryptographically secure". Also harkens back to Micali's "computationally sound proofs", the first real SNARK construction. Or AX proofs for "arithmetic execution" proofs. People like ZK but Z is zesty, but AX is sexy.

There's a new thing every month! The specific type of binary field Binius uses, the Wiedemann tower, is incredibly elegant But the real answer is something new that Ben (our cryptographer) and I figured out a few weeks ago. More details to come soon. 😁
