two reasons imo: 1. founders of companies that profit off of content and interactions being for sale set the (biased) narratives 2. the crypto community leans toward an “everybody owns = everybody profits” narrative instead of “nobody owns = nobody profits”

yeah, AI is a producer not a curator the economy is shifting toward a model where labor is no longer independent of capital, but cyclical in that curation = labor = consumption and curation -> market formation -> consumption -> production -> curation
