I read the a16z rant - and it is a rant. I’d love to know the context and why a grown up company would think that it is a device that would work with other grown ups at this or any other time. 

Clearly I don’t get it.

best i’ve got is maybe his audience is ideologues who respond to simplistic dichotomies and strawmanning? (seems to be raising $ from the US right wing and saudis?)

either that or there’s no one left there willing to give him feedback?
