i disagree w @jessepollak on this. Words have to mean something. Diluting a word’s meaning isn’t helpful. If we wanna talk about all network participants, we can have a word for that

a new insight I've had from the last few months: traders are builders too. 

traders build the capital supply that enables innovation and provide leverage that helps builders go viral through price discovery. 

I'm sorry I didn't fully grok this sooner - traders are builders too.

imo building is a mindset that can applied to basically every vertical. this sort of expansion is useful because it helps realign folks to use their skills / focus in a way that's more additive. 

does it dilute too? yes, but I think it's worth it. we also have specific words to capture folks (eg creator, founder, developer)

because traders who think like builders are 10x more impactful - and same for all the other segments :)

Why dilute the word “build”, which has a very clear meaning, instead of some other word?
