the #1 thing that @solana has right now over @ethereum is people with money who are willing to deploy in a risk forward way at the edge and thereby push forward innovation. this is how innovation happens β€” but it's often messy in a way that can turn folks off (eg it's "just speculation"). but the lack of this means less capital bandwidth for ideas and experiments to both get funding and to break through into virality via price. memes and the innovation downstream of them are a prime example of this. if @ethereum wants to succeed, this needs to change β€” and we are seeing signs of it on @base, but it's still early and we need a lot more help. so let this be a call to action: if you are someone who believes in Ethereum, holds significant amounts of ETH, and wants the economy to grow, now is the time to step up.. if this is you, please DM or shoot me an email at [email protected]. will be coming up with a plan in the new year. πŸ™πŸΌ

Do you think this is because of how ETH got more deflationary and is now "another Bitcoin-like" safe bet? So people just hold and assume it'll go up in value vs. the deploy and push strategy you mentioned above.

I believe Base has that innovation too we just need more audacious builders, I have been following the build of daos.fun since day one and got to find out some one is building the same on Base as Daos.world Initiatives like that will change the scene

their vision to replace the Nasdaq (essentially) is pretty compelling too. that's where I think 'the games' begin because there is so much room for innovation + opportunity on Base in that realm

If people don’t see the potential for high returns, they won’t spend their money. Don’t rely on the idea that people will buy tokens based solely on value discovery. Instead, strategically manage the token price to trigger FOMO and attract capital inflows.
