thanks for clarifying. "because what people have historically used MPC for can now be programmed directly into the Account" -> where can i get more info on this? esp. technical sample implementation i've always thought MPC + smart account was the way to go

I still struggle with the term for new users. Should we migrate to “account” and stop using “wallets” gradually? Why smart wallets can’t be just account make it easier for onboarding new users

Understandable. Can passkeys be used to sign any arbitrary data/messages? Is there a possibility in future where e.g. the transaction could be signed with a passkey completely on user’s device, and published to any node without relying on any third party?

But if secret is divided into N parts and distributed to N validators in MPC T is the threshold number of validators that can decrypt the secret T is a subset of N No way to prove if T validators colluded and decrypted the secret even economic incentives don't solve this problem. It won't work without ZK, FHE or TEE
