I like this framework. In addition to letting “thumbs learn”, getting wallets in people’s hands — even in weak case — lets them get comfortable with owning crypto assets. This is important for letting everyday people form their own opinions about crypto by owning… not by hearing bogeyman stories in media.

My hypothesis is that a shake of the traditional payment method core infrastructure would trigger a move to “only with crypto” (eg DoJ lawsuit against Visa for monopoly) similar to when decentralized social gained traction after trump was deplatformed from twitter. We could feel it a bit with the SVB / FRB fail
