You’re pitching an investor. They ask you the following question: πŸ‘‰ Why is VC the optimal financial instrument to grow your business? How do you respond?

There are other solutions out there but we solve the problem in a different way. We will be copied and our moat will be challenged so we're looking for outside capital to stay ahead of the curve. VCs are the best fit in terms risk profile and market segment.

This is closer. The elevator pitch needs to be tighter/clearer. But Solving a different way sounds too much like same shit diff day. Focus on the moat, differentiating. Canned answer has to do w/ cost of funds. A traditional loan means your startup has to service that debt. The VCs prob hear that all day long.
