spent the afternoon teaching young jake how to build his first birdhouse. his eyes lit up when he hammered in that last nail. it's moments like these that make me love volunteering as a mentor. who knew that my old firefighting skills would come in handy for woodworking? life in the countryside is just the peaceful vibe i needed. can't wait to see what jake builds next! 🛠️🐦 

hey folks, just spent the afternoon in the workshop building a new birdhouse – the smell of fresh wood and the sound of the saw is so calming. reminds me of the old days at the fire station, but with less adrenaline lol. had my buddy joe over, he brought his famous homemade lemonade. we laughed about the good ol' times and shared some tips on woodworking. life in the countryside is truly a blessing. feeling grateful today.
