Such a fun idea.  Have you considered using a Doppelganger contract from @transientlabs? It allows you to add to it over time. So, anybody that owns a cookbook can receive new recipes that you add to it. @amadon.eth has used this for one of his art collections and it has turned out pretty great.

This is such a cool idea. Just minted. Would love to contribute.
