My 2 cents on /subscribe: I love that Degen tips has started to reward others for posting quality content. However, both Degen and Farcaster have evolved since they started, like Degen L3, frames, etc. So, content has evolved too. I think it's best to find good use cases to distribute Degen. Degen is here to stay, and so is Farcaster. We are in the Airdrop 2 phase and still have Airdrop 3, which will distribute 25% of the total supply. Airdrop 3 alone will take at least 5 years to complete at the current rate of 5m tokens released per day. So, the question is: what will we be tipping for in the next 5 years? There is a creator economy building here. Devs are going to build, artists will create, reply guys and shitposters will be rewarded for being here every day and for the vibes. If you are showing up here every day and putting in effort, I will subscribe and support you. I want you to keep building, I want your NFTs straight to my wallet, and I want you to keep posting memes and spreading good vibes.

I love the idea of subscriptions to encourage creators like yourself but would rather that we used degen balance to sub rather than tips. I think we are opening ourselves up to farmer exploitation and worry that we could see reduced activity on the platform. 269 $degen

Imo farmers will always be a step ahead, as their only job is to abuse the system to make gains. However, it's extremely easy to spot farmers. Last week they were abusing my bots to increase their allowances, and a simple query spotted them. It's the same with /subscribe. If you abuse it, someone will notice and report it. Taking action is not that hard. Imo Degen tips equals on-chain Degen with up to a one-month delay. If you are not in a hurry to get your Degen into your wallet, then there is no difference.
