THURSDAY THINKERS Share a photo and a small bio about an influential thinker you admire. Today I’m choosing Roman stoic philosopher Seneca. Seneca was a prolific writer and philosopher who wrote extensively on ethics, morality, and human nature. He was a student of Stoicism, a school of thought that emphasized reason, self-control, and indifference to external events. Seneca's philosophy was characterized by his emphasis on the importance of living in accordance with nature, cultivating inner strength and wisdom, and accepting the things that are outside of one's control.
