which mac should i buy?

- i mostly do web dev for work
- on my computer all day every day. no tolerance for lag, ram limits, etc
- not compiling anything, editing video, etc
- i have a ton of chrome tabs open
- want at least 1tb disk space
- willing to pay extra for futureproofing

mba, mbp, mini? m3 or m4?

figure out what cost you're willing to incur every _n_ months. buy whatever that cost will allow

the knowledge that you're going to make regular purchases should inform the price. don't spend a steep price if your workloads are going to drive you to replace it in 24mo

further apart your purchase moments are though, the higher your budget should go. especially in a post-x86 world

I’m willing to spend a lot on something I use for hours every day. But is more money really better here? Must I drop $4k for a stacked mbp pro max?
