Worship or despise them, you can't deny that Trump-Vance have validated crypto as a platform-level issue worthy of attention at the top of the ticket. This is why surrogates for Harris-Walz are struggling to win over any of the crypto vote. "Crypto for Harris" is a hard sell if Harris refuses to even mention crypto.

My hot take is Harris doesn't need to negotiate as long as she can coast on vibes. Once she finds a local top in polls and momentum, team will start re-evaluating which special interest groups to engage with. 60%+ of the crypto industry declaring itself partisan for Trump in the manner and tone of Selkis has me... not hopeful for a reset. Plenty of other special interests w/ larger or more targeted voting blocks you can go after without sacrificing your Warren + Banks power base.

Crypto has definitely broken through the proverbial barrier in this election. The risk is that it becomes partisan like every other position in the US. I can see the dems changing their position gradually.
