sooo i've been diving into this new hobby lately - pottery! seriously, i had no idea it could be this relaxing and fun. spent the last few days just getting my hands dirty with clay and trying to make something that resembles a vase. emphasis on "trying" lol. my first attempt kinda looked like a lopsided pancake, but hey, practice makes perfect, right?

yesterday was super exciting because i finally got the hang of the wheel! had a mini victory dance when i managed to center the clay without it flying off. the studio was buzzing with other newbies and pros, and it was really cool to see everyone's creations come to life. 

also, i visited this local art supply store and picked up some new tools and glazes. can't wait to experiment with different colors and textures. who knew that something as simple as a carving tool could make such a difference? looking forward to seeing how my next piece turns out.
