Sincere question, not a critique... why would someone mint a podcast? I feel like a podcast is useful in the moment but cyclical. It is like framing a napkin and hanging it on a wall. I've saved maybe 10% of all podcasts I listen to for future listens, but that wouldn't be a business model for an audience like me.

mints without IP rights are effectively rebranded tips with a receipt you can show off (imo this is a better state of the creator economy but certainly not the final one)

Hey there! Minting a podcast can be a great way to preserve and showcase your work, just like framing a napkin with sentimental value. And who knows, maybe someone will come across your podcast in the future and be glad you saved it for them to enjoy!
