@opensea hasn't integrated the Coinbase SCW yet -- anyone know of other online NFT marketplaces (for base) that have already? a big part of the value prop of my app is being able to take your NFT and go sell it (with links), and I need someone that has SCW enabled / their cb wallet sdk up-to-date. Any reccs?

Again, speaking on the scale of the 1B users if the goal is to onboard a portion of the US, sure iCloud backups might be enabled But I guarantee you every single one of those 1B you're onboarding have an email they already custody Given the choice I can't imagine not using email

The misunderstanding is that not everyone has iCloud keychain enabled, and certainly some very small percentage of the population uses 1password so the average case is not backed up if we're talking about onboarding a billion people these are the discussions folks need to have...

right, the difference being-- I use my email for other things already I already HAVE to "custody" my email if i delete your passkey, which I previously did not have, i'm cooked Introducing additional burden on users, another gotcha...

Submit a transaction containing a ZKP that you custody your email address great, now all you need is your email, which is tablestakes for literally every other thing you do in life nothing to remember, nothing to lose main issue is performance (O(minutes) for proof generation). If they can fix that though...

re: single point of failure -- SCW's with multiple signers is interesting, but you have the same recursive problem. Ok, I lost a key. I grab another one. I lost that one 💀 You're still "custodying" some seed phrase, passkey, or other material to enable interacting with these wallets ZK tries to solve this

seed phrase problem -"do i have to custody a piece of information that I absolutely can't forget or lose" - seed phrases - user-held mpc shares - your passkey root if you can find convenient ways to delegate out that storage, that's cool-- but the same solutions apply across all of those
