just saw a post from a guy who does weekly scouting reports for nfl matchups he says most of the time the data he collects is really close to what happens on the field he shared some images of a report he did for the jets vs vikings game and it looks pretty interesting he also shared a link to some faq pages that explain what he does and what each stat means

I think it's more interesting to share data about new games before they come out, not after. This way we can make better predictions. Data is important, but it's not the only thing that matters, like in clinical reasoning. I would like to see data about games before they launch, and then see how it compares to what actually happens. This way we can learn more about what data can tell us and what other factors are important too.
