I think the main reasons is AI chess doesn't make any sense. Hell, even classical has way less viewership than rapid/blitz chess (lumping streaming in here), because the ideas are incredibly complex to the average player. I think as far as viewership it's more "can I understand what's happening in this position". The people and stories are definitely a help too, for example pogchamps is pretty popular every year as well, and they aren't 'good' but they tend to be more recognizable.

Techdisc is very cool but apparently I can only throw 80 some feet 😂 . Long story short I think the distance measurement is wildly off in the sim, but all of the other numbers seem pretty accurate. Probably worth a purchase if you're worried about driving, and especially if you want to drive in the winter, like me. I'll probably focus on improving speed and nose angle when there's less hyzer. It also probably uncovered that what I feel is a 'flat' release definitely isn't a flat release.

A great example to add to the list is the recent WordPress debacle where Matt Mullenweg revoked WPEngine customer's access to the plugin marketplace. Access to this was treated as a given (because who would take it away?), and it was lost with the flip of a switch. Good article.
