why we switched to USDC bidding for qrcoin.fun: - most held asset on base and in farcaster wallets besides ETH - many warplets are and will continue to be funded with USDC via rewards, tips, etc. - for most crypto natives, USDC bidding removes the need to swap (to $QR) before bidding - $QR denominated bidding had no apparent impact on token price which was the primary reason we did it, knowing it created more friction to bidding but thinking it would help the token price - both farcaster and base seem to favor apps that use USDC - makes taxes easier - using USDC revenue to buy QR is viewed positively but selling QR revenue to cover costs is viewed negatively even though they're really the same thing - allows us to denominate auctions in $ - facilitates sign up with email and pay with debit card / Apple Pay, possibly making bidding easy enough for regular people to do it - probably some other things

great explanation i also think usdc would/should be the default for mini apps, rodeo did the same thing recently, and it's cleaner
