I just shared a short video with my two oldest on inflexible minorities that talked about this. It's Naval and Taleb talking about kosher lemonade and why all lemonade in the US is kosher.
The same systems thinking that gave us kosher lemonade gave us mostly automatic automobiles, despite the fact that a lot of people enjoy stick.

Big difference though between knowing how to and actually doing it well. I'll say 'no' but I know how per se
