Shouldn't posts from the owner or host of a channel automatically show up in the main feed? 

Right now I have to like my own posts to get them to show up in main - or is this just user error?

If you set yourself as moderator then yes you have to like your own casts bc only casts liked by moderator will display in Main.

Use a mod bot as Moderator if you want it to be more automated, I'm using @automod from @jtgi
