I wish there was a way for the decentralized social apps to use decentralized media storage. I upload my song/video to IPFS everyday, and it seems silly that there’s no way for that to feed directly into my decentralized social accounts. 

Can someone make this happen???

I am in my 16th year of writing a Song A Day.

IPFS is just too slow IMO, even when using dedicated gateways.

It’s why OpenSea was able to succeed; they pulled initially from IPFS then stored a cache on a web2 backend.

I love IPFS, but from a consumer standpoint, they aren’t a viable option…as of right now. Optimistic that will change in the future!
