Fun exercise. Words are *the* optimal adaption for large-scale coordination, which leads to ability to control environment, which leads to increased DNA propagation for large mammals. Prices are a result of human desires being infinite vs. supply of desirable stuff is finite. Laws are natural evolution of how create "stable" equilibriums for large-scale coordination (which increases DNA propagation), with a root on who has the monopoly on violence.

Some priests in Mesopotamia were storing wheat in a warehouse or something and thought it’d be useful to start tallying it up on clay tablets for record-keeping. Then they realized they could tally more than just wheat. Instead of getting a new tablet for everything, they started drawing symbols. Those symbols turned into letters, which clumped together into words, and over time, became a whole language. And, amusingly enough, all that counting and tallying eventually turned into math.

Interesting questions words, prices, and laws all seem simple on the surface, but they reveal a lot about culture, power, and society. Do you think any of them exist independently of human influence, or are they all just constructs we create and redefine?
