… wait, hold on. aren’t the mints trending downward? if there was strong growth, cumulative would be an exponential or steeper curve (like Feb to mid March) and not a slowing linear line?

The rewards downtrend is in large part due to the substantial fee change we did (0.000777 ETH to 0.000111 ETH). Here is the mints chart to get a better picture of what’s happening

The bet with the reward shift would be that it would substantially impact rewards in the short term, but then lead to increased minting, increased number of posts getting a mint and increase in collectors. And we roughly estimated 6 months for it to get to pre-change levels (trending well but not there yet) We saw a similar thing with the rewards model. We nuked our own revenue 80%, with the bet that rewards would lead to more growth. That took around 6 months to become true.
