I frequently find myself being discourage about the fact that we're largely only building for the crypto people who are already here. We have this grand vision of bringing the rest of the world onchain but it feels like no one actually knows how to do it. Pretty much every "successful" crypto business comes from PMF with crypto-natives - and very very few apps actually have real users that use the product for the crypto elements. We see glimpses of it every cycle - but it's more about the meta that makes the most money more so than embracing the culture in a way that actually makes a meaningful difference in people's lives. So what happens is it feels like chasing trends when in reality what I'm trying to find is the glue that actually keeps people around. The problem is nothing has kept people around in crypto outside of making money and that simply doesn't scale to the rest of the world. Keeping a close eye on whoever breaks this loop first.

I’m more optimistic. Everyone who is here right now, was previously not a crypto person. New people come into the space everyday. The nuance (and the key) is to build for crypto people, but make it as easy as possible for people to become a crypto person. https://x.com/js_horne/status/1316252693216653317?s=46

I like this framing a lot and aligns a lot with how we’re building. I think one nuance I would add is once it is easy - you have to actually go meet people where they’re at and hold their hand to get them in the door. People don’t just become crypto people for no reason - there need to be a strong reason to do so! 1000 $DEGEN

If you don’t mind. What do you think is a good roadmap for a beginner in the crypto space. Just asking for the best place to start that you think is easy to grasp

That's an encouraging way to look at things (Although there are a lot of people who I'd say aren't internet people, whether because of lack of knowledge about how to use it or because they genuinely think the world would be a better place without the internet)
