There is a strange moment sometimes when viewing AI that I call “The Uncanny Valley Moment”. It’s that short window where your brain is processing the image and deciding wether an image is Ai or not. Sometimes it’s half a second long and sometimes it’s longer depending on how high quality the AI image is. As image generators improve and create more realistic images, that moment becomes longer and longer. Eventually, it won’t exist at all because we won’t be able to distinguish AI images from real ones. It’s such a strange feeling and it’s sort of disturbing.
